Unfortunately, I don't know of any plug-in for nesting contours or solids directly in AutoCAD. I even approached the OptiNest developers with a proposal to create such a plugin together, but did not receive a response. Therefore, I now recommend using the AVC NC Prepare and AVC DXF Export plugins to create flat contours from a 3D model and then export them to DXF files. All nesting and CAM programs can import such contours from DXF. For example, in our production, we managed to export furniture parts to OptiNest. Next, we save the cutting plan again in dxf and then open it in our CAM program (Biesse b-Solid). And, for example, AlphaCAM does not need to create flat contours - it can read solids from DXF. Files with solid parts laid out in the XY plane can also be obtained using the AVC DXF Export plugin.
