Need Help Creating a Spiral Staircase

I have a bitmap of a spiral staircase. I have been using CorelDRAW for the last 20 years and consider myself fairly skilled. I currently use CorelDRAW 2017. I have been trying to replicate this bitmap into a vector image for days and have been unable to accomplish this. I have posted my question on CorelDRAW forums, but no help was forthcoming. I requested help from Doug Green who provides a lot of terrific CorelDRAW help and tips on YouTube. He suggested and showed me to create traces of each individual tread (stair top), riser, and side. This method created Individual closed vector objects that could be colored, shaded, resized, etc. Although this method DOES accomplish what I want, it is a very tedious task, very time consuming, and not precisely uniform.

If I submit this bitmap, can anyone recreate this spiral staircase with your toolset and then export it in a vector format (preferably .CDR, .SVG, or .AI).

as I already answered in your other thread >>>click<<< this is the forum for AutoCAD, not for CorelDraw.

If you have AutoCAD then please let us know which version and show us what you have got done yet.

If you don't have AutoCAD or if you want to have answers for how this is done with CorelDraw it does not make much sense to ask here.

You have not shown dimensions, your image is clipped (so we can't see the height)

Also AI as well as SVG are 2D formats, how should we transfer a 3D object in any of these formats?

If you read my post carefully, you would realize that your reply, "...it makes no sense to post here," is a rude and ridiculous answer. Apparently you have nothing better to do than to criticize someone's post instead of being helpful or better yet, to be silent.

BTW: I made no mention of 3D or 2D.

I have to agree with @Alfred.NESWADBA - the AutoCAD Forum is the wrong place for your question. 

This Information is neither rude nor ridiculous.

I don't have a huge problem with someone posting issues related to other software applications to this forum.  AutoCAD users are a resourceful lot. It is an odd tactical decision, though, to insult members of a group from which you seek aid.

Thank you very much for your help. Your reproduction in SVG format was exactly what I needed and wanted. I very much appreciate all the time and effort you gave to me. In addition, I appreciate your skill level. You have restored my faith that there are still people who try to be helpful, as opposed to others on this forum.

I have finished my design (thanks to your help). If you would like to see it, I will send it to you. 

I have 1 last question. Did you recreate this bitmap using Autocad or some other program? My nephew is an architect (he uses Autocad) and informed me that it was not possible to do what I wanted because Autocad does not create closed polygons, ONLY lines. Therefore, I would not be able to color, shade, resize these objects in CorelDRAW.

AutoCAD has the tools to render 3d models to a 2d representation. It is not a widely used work set, and could, no doubt, use a little more attention from the programmers at Autodesk (or some third party).

I do have access to CorelDraw and am at least slightly familiar with its uses. CorelDraw allowed me to save as SVG. Draw would make a good addition if vector images were a large part of a CAD departments requirements.

That notwithstanding, It is quite possible for AutoCAD to do this job on its own. Perhaps your nephew could spend a little time on these forums to learn a new technique or two from the likes of @Alfred.NESWADBA and @j.palmeL29YX

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: 1-STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

One of my favorite classic rock songs is "Stairway to Heaven," by Led Zeppelin. Recently I watched a Kennedy’s Honors show that honored the remaining Led Zeppelin band members. This song was sung by Ann Wilson of Heart with Nancy Wilson playing the guitar with a full band featuring Jason Bonham (the deceased John Bonham's son) playing the drums. Also there was a choir that entered during the end. The performance blew me away. I then became inspired to create my minds idea of this song by creating a graphic image. "Oh, oh, oh, oh and she’s buying a stairway to heaven."
