Good morning. I am a Naval Architecture Student and I am making this attached Project: it's a Boat looking like a Gothic Cathedral. for some reason I am unable to open it again, my Laptop does not have enough memory to open it. I am in Shock for this, months and months working for nothing. I am looking for somebody who could help me please. how you could help me? Please provide your e-mail address so I can Send you my File as I was unable to attach it here. Once you get the file: 1. Open the CAD file in your powerful computer 2. Zoom Extents to see the whole drawing 3. Turn on all the Layers 4. Delete all the floor plans on the second row (the mirrored halves) from Floater to Deck 21 and also the halves floor plans on the Right Bottom 5 keep the Halves on the first Row, the blocks library and also the wholes on the bottom left 6 purge drawing and turn off layers 7 Send it back to me goldengate14@hotmail.com or give me please a call 415-244-7950 Thank you in advance for your help. I will really appreciate that.

Sounds like you need a new computer. But I will tell you now that it is not allowed, all the stuff that you want people to do for you in the forum.

It could be many causes for unable opening a drawing file.

Please tell

1. is there any message pupping up when trying to open the file? And if yes then what is it?

2. your computer specs.

3. your disk free space.

And you may try to recover the file in AutoCAD. "recover" is the command.

Good evening, this post was made back in 2015 and you replied 3 years later with your silly and empty comment. I always say thank to people helping me here and I always give them kudos. FYI I no longer work in AutoCAD but Revit in my powerful new computer. thank you
