Multiple Text heights creating Annotation

I have been trying or wondering why in AutoCAD, when I'm creating Annotation text, and I create my text box there are multiple text heights that appear, 3/16", 9 5/8" and sometimes more. And when I bring in objects from other files or other vendors and I use the Annotation text there are more text heights that appear that "I" didn't create or load. (see attached pdf)

Why is that (just asking because.......and because its annoying)

And can you get rid of the additional heights you don't want or need?

Thanks

Those are selections that exist in the DWG file you are in, they are in use.

I guess what I' not understanding is, the text height are already there when I begin a drawing or launch AutoCAD that I just begin placing text so the text are already there. Like a default.

Thanks

Sadly AutoCAD is full of this kind of stuff, if you can only work with all clean slates and empty dialog boxes all the time everywhere you're going to have to find another program. Sorry.

Most of us just learn to ignore what is not relevant or important in a DWG file if we cannot delete or rename it.
