The arrow doesn't land before entering content. When I try to place an annotation, it sets content first then I have to drag the arrow. Everything was fine. I must have hit something because now it has affected all my previous drawings too.

enter command "mleader" notice command line options. You want to enter "L" for leader landing first. Should be good to go after that.
That did it. I guess it goes to the last chosen option by default. Thank you so much.
