Multileader Block Space

We have a team who modified a multieader for a client need.  The client wants an "X" with a spline which ends at the "X".  I cannot figure out how to close the gap between the spline and the "X".  Does anyone out there know the answer to this riddle?

That gap is the "arrow size."  I guess they assume custom Blocks will be defined with "raw" size of 1 drawing unit long, like mostof theirs.

 

You can greatly reduce that gap, with this trick:  Define your Block with its native size 10 times as big, and set its size in the MLeader Style to 1/10 as big.  [Or 100 times and 1/100, or....]

 

Or, you could define the Block with [when at scales of 1 and rotation of 0] a 1-unit-long Line extending in the 180° direction from its insertion base point:

In a Spline-format leader, it will start off from the Block straight, but shouldn't be very noticeable in most cases:
