Move objects to new layer based on extended data LISP

Hi!

I have created a property set data in Civil 3D for my pipe network. Each object gets an unique layer name in the property set data when attaching it as extended data to an object, see attachment. I want to move every object in my drawing to a new layer based on the extended data layername. Is this possible with LISP? or is there another way?

Should be. Best place to post this request is in the AutoLISP and Customization section though. I would recommend you post there and add a sample drawing file with a sample object. Some other considerations are what color for the layer or will that layer already exist? What if it doesn't exist. Linetype for that layer? Visibility of that layer should the object be moved to the new layer and turned off/on, frozen/thawed, what if thew object is on a layer that is frozen or locked?

Just some things to consider.

Good luck,
