Move Object in Array along the path

Hi,

Is there a way to move Array object along the line? I am using Align Items, Divide meaning by it distributes based on QTY equally along the path. However because of this it Offset objects from the original position of cause.  I need to move objects back the center (line) of the path.

Image attached,

Thanks

Hi,

you can use the dynamic grips for your arrayed objects .

Thank you for the answer but, I am using Divide method for an Array, I have no option to move the object in path unless I am missing something,

Thanks

You can reposition your start point and you can edit the path to shift all circles. It depends on the symmetry that you want. see attached file. I made a screencast as well.

Hi, thank you for the answer but some how I still can't make it work... maybe because shape has fillet?

Thanks

You can relocate the start point of your polyline that is being sampled by breaking the poly line at a given point and then join the two.  I moved your start point in this file so you can shift up or down without affecting the fillet radius.

Thanks! This is perfect!

If NOT too much to ask I would like to know how to change the start point? I started my circle in the middle of array path expecting it to stay in place and build additional circles accordingly but it always moves somewhere else. Base point defined based on the original circle which is in the middle. When I try to move it, it moves it as an object.

Am I need to split shape in half(brake) in order to achieve this result?

Thanks!

I actually finally figured how its done, changing start point......

Edit Array, Select Shape, Warning Pop Out, OK, use command arrayclose to close Edit After....

Thank you for all the Help!
