Mouse Scale Object extremely sensitive?

Just got a new-old laptop from my office to use, but for some reason the scale object function is absurdly sensitive— to the point where even the slightest movement of the mouse makes something the size of a door larger than an entire house. It seems like it’s an exponential scale and I’m used to it being 1:1.

Is there a setting for adjusting sensitivity of that function? I’ve never had this problem before on any device; tried googling and got nothing back. Never realized how much I used the scale tool until I was rendered unable to use it at all lmao. FaceTime Download

@a.minjabari242 ,

Try adjusting the mouse sensitivity.

If you want to scale objects the actual scale match 1:1 to cursor distance from basepoint, use the Reference option.

SCALE

Select objects

Basepoint

Reference option

Basepoint again (or @)

The second point of reference distance.

@a.minjabari242 I wonder if you just need to change your ZOOMFACTOR command settings to a much lower number: usage is explained in HELP.

Hello @a.minjabari242

It's a Windows setting, not an AutoCAD setting.

Try Settings=>Devices=>Mouse

Then adjust the 'sliders' to control sensitivity.
