I have the Logitech MX anywhere 2s mouse and I'm trying to get the wheel in the middle to be able to use as the pan command but I haven't figure it out.  I have been on their website and still can't figure it out.  Would anyone here know how to get that to work.  I hope this isn't a long shot but figure I would ask.

Thank you,

Thank you but my work location won't let me install option software. ( government for you ) but the little bottom behind the scroll wheel I tried that and it worked for the pan command.  That is pretty much what I was looking for.  I have everything set up for Logitech mouse I have at work with the software and it works very nice.

Thank you,

gcCAD, could you elaborate how it did not work switching from revit to cad?  have you tried switching between other programs?  I suppost the middle button could be customized for different software?

I have the middle set to act as the "middle button" which I use for panning. I don't use the mouse to switch programs other than clicking in another program to change the focus to that program.

With most mice when you click on a program window the mouse actions then become active in that program that now has the focus. The older Anywhere MX mouse with the Logitech Setpoint software works that way. The Anywhere 2S mouse with the Logitech Options software usually works that way as well. But frequently with the Anywhere 2S mouse when I switch the focus from Autocad to Revit or vice-versa the mouse won't become active in the program that now has the focus.

I have to click in some other program or on the desktop then again click in either Autocad or Revit to get the mouse active in that program.

Which 'same problem' please? Explain in more detail when you get a chance.

MX anywhere 2S mouse has a small middle button, it is for pan function in 2D or 3D software. the middle wheel can only zoom in or out function. when you push wheel down, it switch wheel rolling line by line or speedy. but MX anywhere 3 change it. the middle wheel takes pan function. and middle small button only switch wheel rolling function. i used anywhere generation 1 and 2 many many years. i like it. i have to try to familiar anywhere 3 now. it is hard for me.

don't download software, just plug in or bluetooth connect. software doesn't work for this mouse.
