Dear all I'm confronting problem with one of my auto cad file mouse keep jumping around only with one file.

when I set my settings of the Auto Snap (system Variable) to 32 the mouse work perfectly but the marker doesn't show.

when I changed the setting (system Variable) to any other nr like 0,1,2,4,8,63 the mouse keep jumping around.

I've perform some test.

when I set the AutoSnap (system Variable) to 32 and manually enable the marker in the option of "snap and grid" mouse starting jumping around again. ( it seems when the marker has been enabled the mouse start jumping around)

Set the file locally on the PC and also via network share the file is 23 MB keep doing the same

I also rename the bak file to dwg the mouse still keep jumping around.

Also perform Recoverall Commando but no error where found in the file.

Hardware acceleration has been disabled still jumping

The file has been tested with auto cad 2016 and 2017 also run sp1 mouse still jumping around.

Tested on windows 10 and Windows 8.1

Can someone please help me with this problem?

Hi,

what happens if you create a new file and use copy & paste to copy the geometry from the existing file into the new one, does the new file have the same issues?

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Please ignore Otto - he is on a learning curve :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

If this is only happening in one file, I suggest that you try an Audit, Purge, -Purge>Regapps and even an ExporttoAutoCAD.  @Alfred.NESWADBA's suggsetion is also great to try.

Please attach the file to a post if you would like me to investigate.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

It sounds like grid snap is on.

See if setting the system variable UCSDETECT = 0 helps.
