Modifying 3D Solids

I have a 3D object that I've sliced and now would like to make other modifications. I've uploaded the file to make it clear what I am working with. Here is what I would like to do:

1) I would like to extend the distance of the flat edge that with squared corners so it is the same distance from the circle cutouts to the edge of the plane. I'm not sure how to measure to get the current distance or to extend it exactly the amount needed

2) I would like to round the corners to they have the same radius as the current rounded corners. I'm not sure how to check the radius of the current corners or how to round the ones I'm interested in rounding.

Basically, ignoring the rectangular cutouts, I am trying the board symmetric about the center.

I'm sure these are basic things. I'm new to 3D modeling in general so this I'm learning as I go.

Thanks,

Josh

3DROTATE your model to World UCS  then use ordinary dimension commands to get what you want.

Draw your parts in World UCS that need to add to existing model, Extrude to proper thickness then Union them together.

Change your UCS to Face of the front (bottom) face. Now measure from CENTER of the Circle to Perp of the edge. This will give you the distance.

Now draw a box on the uppermost edge with a height as desired and then use UNION to join it to the solid.

To determine the radius of the arcs on the lower corners, again switch your UCS to the face and then draw a line from Center of the round corner to the edge. This will give you the radius.

Basically, ignoring the rectangular cutouts, I am trying the board symmetric about the center.

If you do this on one side of the body, you could slice off the other half of the body from the midpoint and then mirror the good part.

I'm sure these are basic things. I'm new to 3D modeling in general so this I'm learning as I go.

Thanks,

Josh
