Model Space Tiled Viewports

Somehow I keep hitting a key by accident that  breaks my model space screen into tile viewports.  I don't know what letter key it is because when I  hit F2 it only gives me ...(ai_tiledvp 2 "_V").

Does anyone know what key I am hitting by accident so I can change the alias for that so I will not have to be bothered  by that again.

Hi,

i'm afraid that you double click  -/+ that appears at upper left in your model space . you can activate it and get back by double click that symbols.

It doesn't happen on a mouse click it happens with a keystroke with my left
hand. When I am intending to hit S for stretch is when it happens. So it
is a single keystroke I am making with my left hand somehow.

Then i suggest to check V letter .

In AutoCAD activate the Manage Tab.

Choose 'Edit aliases' in the Customization panel.

Here all shortcuts are to be checked. Search for Viewports.

Or perhaps the Commandline input has 'set' your keystroke to be a typo for another command.

Click the Wrench in the Commandline header to disable Autocorrect and/or Autocomplete. Just to see if this stops the viewports creation.

You might also want to check the Keyboard shortcuts within the CUIX file.

Type CUI and browse to the Keyboard shortcuts an open the Shortcut keys to see is there is any key set for viewports.

However due to the commandline history "(ai_tiledvp 2 "_V")" it seems like you have a third party lisp or menu which does this.

When i enter this exact command (ai_tiledvp 2 "_V") it does what you describe. break the model into two vertical viewports.
