Model space breaks down when using autocad

The model space breaks down while using autocad. I have tried reinstalling the program and updating every update I could find available for my computer. I really don't know what to do at this point. Any suggestions? Would deeply appreciate some help.

See if starting AutoCAD like this helps:
-Right-click the AutoCAD program icon on your desktop
-Click "Properties"
-Access the "Shortcut" tab
-In the "Target" field, after acad.exe" type a space and then /NOHARDWARE
-Click "OK" and start the program

So I haven't tested it for long but that seems to have solved it. However it made autocad super laggy! It's really painful to use like this. I have had the lag problem a couple of times earlier and followed these steps: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Graphi..., which always fixed it. But if I reset autocad to default options, which is the only thing that seems to make it go smooth again, it also resets your suggestion. Could I be looking at damaged hardware?

I suspect a driver update (or setting/feature turned on that was previously off) may have triggered this if my tip resolved the display issue.
What is the video card that AutoCAD is using? GRAPHICSCONFIG command will confirm.
Also post a screenshot of your ABOUT command.

It doesn't show what video card I am using. I have tried right clicking the autocad shortcut on the desktop and started it with both the integrated graphics card and my nvidia one. I use the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with Max-Q Design.1.JPG2.JPG

Thanks for the info: I do not see an Autodesk Certified driver for that one https://knowledge.autodesk.com/certified-graphics-hardware

EDIT: Ignore that last reply. There is a similar issue around these forums, let me find that post and link it to you (if someone else does not beat me to it)
