Hello!
I am working in AutoCad 2021 with a 3D model. I have created layouts in 2D for the different views (front, rear, top, etc...). When creating my layouts, I insert a base view from the model space. The problem that I am having is that after my layout is created and I make a change in the 3D model, the layout does not update accordingly. This is a new problem, as I had no problems with this function prior to version 2021. In past versions, all changes to the model would be instantly reflected in the layout view. Auto view update is turned on for the layout, and it says the view is up to date when it clearly is not updating the layout as per the model. The only way I have around it now is that I either have to delete my base view and reinsert it, or I have to copy my entire model and paste it into a brand new 3D drawing. This should not be the case, as this function worked just fine in the past.
