MLEADERALIGN Problem with leaders on right side

When MLEADERALIGN is run when the multileaders have their leaders on the right side, it aligns the left side of the body of text and doesn't align the starts of the leaders themselves, which is how MLEADERALIGN works the leaders are on the left side.

Anyone know how to get around this without having to mirror the objects first then align?

What are the "right side" settings in MLEADERSTYLE and how do they compare the the "left side" settings?

They are the same.  The only setting I see for leader side setting is how they attached to the text.

Please see attached file.  In the file, the multileadera are aligned how I would like them.  If you run the MLEADERALIGN command on multileaders on the right, nothing changes, however, if ran on the left, the leaders align to the left, and to the right.

They are not alike: the text on the left is LEFT justified, the text on the right is RIGHT justified (which looks exceptionally unprofessional BTW).

If I also select all the mleaders on the left and on the right, other than content they also differ in some many other ways no related to left/right (and you also have two mleaderstyles in use).

Try to make them truly identical and see if your desired behavior is accomplished.

As part of your testing, turn off leader extensions for a bit (these are also on in some cases and off in others).

Thanks for your advice.  I copied one from the right side and mirrored it, and then tired MLEADERALIGN and it worked like it should.  I think the problem has originated from using a LISP that converts MTEXT and leaders into multileaders.

I'm going to search for a way remove all formatting from multileaders, unless you know how.

I have exactly the same issue I cant solve, please see image below, the left MultiLeader is a mirrored version of the Right. I cant get them to look the same!

I've worked it out, there is an option in the properties for Left and Right attachment. Both need setting to middle of top line for them to work effectively. Mirroring or Copying doesn't give a true like for like copy which is what the issue is.
