Misssing tool palett

Hello together,

I installed the test version of Auto CAD for a period of one year, but somehow the tool palette is missing.

I am writing from germany. I attached you some screen shots for better understanding.

I am looking forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Holger

Have you tried searching for shapes.atc on your computer in a different location?

Check the Temp folder for a copy of Shapes.atc.

Thank you very much for your reply. I found shapes.atc in C Drive. But i am not sure if this is the right file because Auto Cad obviously doesn´t use it !?

In fact I installed the programm in D Drive, but a part of AutoCAD is running in C Drive. As far as I remember correctly during instalation I have been told that this must be like that. I Used D Drive to "store" the programm because i don't have enough storage space in C Drive left.

Maybe the PC is getting confused because of that !? And doesn`t find the right Shape File...

@holgervoigt ,

If you have two locations for shapes.atc, consider adding more than one path in the Tool Palettes File Location. One from your C drive and another from the D drive.

I am sorry that I answered so late. Thank you very much for your help! I tried the suggestions but found that the computer had other problems. So I decided to renew all the software including AutoCAD. Now everything should be fine.
