Merging multiple DWG Files into One file w/o knowing the base point

Hello,

I have a floor plan that was divided into areas: A, B, C, etc. and each area has its own dwg file.

I want to put all the areas into one file, but I do not know the base point when the Architect separated the complete floor plan.

Is there a way to do this that is NOT insert, and/or copy/paste since it's too much time consumming to find the joining point?

Thanks in Advance.

Ask the Architect. Your client knows best

I would xref (external reference) them at 0,0,0.  See what happens.  Everything might be set up correctly and you will be happy.

It shouldn't be that hard because, if the split was done properly, there will be a slight overlap between the part plans. If not, it's just a matter of connecting endpoints. You could have been done by now.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
