Hi,

My questions are as short as your problem description 😉

  • same dimension-style`?
  • same dimension-scale?
  • same space (model- or paperspace)?
  • same annotative settings?

The more info you can give (and maybe the drawing itself) the more and faster helpful we can be!

I am drawing on an existing drawing, on Autocad 2018, but when I "Scale" my
line to match the existing, it is TOO BIG/LONG so it doesn't fit the page.
Tried a few things in dimensions, but nothing.

Hi,

>> Das ist der Modellbereich

Can you please upload the drawing, with a marker so we can see where is the line you wanted to draw as well as which length it should have.

FYI, I have the printed 24x36 drawings, it says 1/8" = 1'-0"

On AutoCAD:

Existing drawing= 6'-0"

If I draw over it )measurement above) it says= 0'-3/4"

I am new to AutoCAD, having trouble switching around the Annotations,
Scaling, and Measuring.

Thanks
