Mark (copy) parts of a block, wihout exploding it

Hello,

I have a drawing with a block in it. This block contain many objects. Just for example let's say that this block is a dimensions annotations all around the drawing. I want to copy parts (multiple parts, not just one object) of this block to another drawing. As far as I know I can copy it, then explode it, and then delete the parts I dont need. Or use the Copy Nested Objects (NCOPY) but I can only click on objects with it, one by one, without an area-selection marking option. Do you have a method to mark (with area-selection tool) multiple object of a block?

Thank you

Hi,

you can copy objects while in block edit mode,

Command: RefEdit

Refclose without saving

(But explode, copyclip, undo, works as well)

My fail

If the insert-scale is not important, try the same in BEDIT instead RefEdit.

@mmatanlevi There is no "... multiple blocks selection to extract content from them all at once..." tool in AutoCAD. Sorry.

One by one is all you get.
