I am using Autocad 2015 and i want to try and bring in a block where i can edit a parameter that will adjust a line (or lines) without bursting the block. like how you can bring in a block and change text ( edit atribute) without bursting? does anyone know how to do this or if it is even possible? I have uploaded a dwg and a picture to show what i am working on and what i am trying to achive.

BEDIT the block after inserting it.  Be aware that will modify all instances of the block in the drawing.

It's a Dynamic Block.  The line inside the block has a Stretch Parameter, with a Stretch Action attached to either end.  I would suggest consulting AutoCAD HELP files, and or Youtube to learn more about Dynamic Blocks.

There's also a sub-forum just for Dynamic Blocks where you might find some use info and help  http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/dynamic-blocks/bd-p/154
