Loft command error

Hi everyone. I'm a beginner in design but don't wanna give up. I'm trying to apply the loft command on two circles, of which  it keeps saying error. Can someone help me?Ive attatched a file along  with this request. thank you.

This is really good start . as you can see from below image you have two circles at the same level and this is why Loft command did not work . select one circle then Ctrl+1 >> change Geometry Center Z value . try now loft command. >> Click <<

Hurrah,it finally worked. How can i avoid this again. It seems i get the illusion of putting my objects in 3D, but in reality, i put them in 2D. Is there a way to avoid this mistake right at the start of drawing? THanks

make sure that your Viewcube ( upper right of your CAD screen ) is ON ( NAVVCUBE = ON ) . click on the house icon to get a 3D view . now you can copy and move in a 3d mode .

You may have the OSNAPZ System Variable set to force everything into the current drawing plane.  Read about it in Help.
