Hello,

Has anyone come across the issue where a certain linetype won't display as intended and instead shows up as a continuous line?

We have 3 AutoCAD licences and everything works fine for one computer, but then on the other two it's not displaying correctly.

Hello,

Tried all that, however still not working.

I think it might have something to do with where it's looking for the .shx file, however I can't find where in AutoCAD it is that I need to direct to my C drive

Very easy way: Upload dwg with one circle in model tab and one layout with one viewport.

As you say, this sample should works as expected at one of three PC.

Please find attached.

The model is TOPO BANK TOP.

When I open the drawing I only get a continuous line, when it's meant to look like the .jpg that I've also attached.

Search for MRS_SADV04.shx on 'the one' pc,

copy this file to the similar folder on the other both pc

and if this folder isn't a support folder, add this folder as support folder -

i am sure it is added at the one pc.

(Options/Files/  first node - Searchpath for supportfiles..)

You have to learn how to set up your program, how to backup setting&templates and so on,

i can not explain it in few minutes, sorry. For now: Make sure this file is also on a safe place

outside the program and profile folders!

Note: You have to send this file to every recipient of your DWG files (with these linetypes),

it should work work by using command: ETRANSMIT with incl. the FONT option.

I can do that, but the whole point of that linetype is that it represents top of bank. Using another linetype will give the impression that line is something else

Check your annotative scale and line type scale... it's usually one or both of these things.
