Lines Missing on Bottom Third of Window

I recently installed AutoCAD LT 2019 on my laptop. When I open a CAD file, something weird happens on the screen: all the linework within the bottom third of the AutoCAD window disappears, as if it's behind a masking layer. If I use the pan tool to move the drawing up into the top 2/3 of the window, then the missing lines reappear.

The above image shows a screenshot of a floor plan I'm working on. This is on my desktop, and this is how the plans are supposed to look. Now for a screenshot of the same file on my laptop:

One thing that's weird is that there are a bunch of furniture blocks I've created - just rectangles with labels so I know what they represent - and the text labels are the only thing that show through on the bottom third of the screen.

I've never seen anything like this before, and I have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas?

It worked - thank you! I'm curious to know why that particular setting would have that effect.

Your laptop is using a graphics card that has compatibility issues running AutoCAD which your desktop computer does not.
