Line types not showing

I have attached two PDF's with the same section of road. The Pavement Marking Plan has the line types as they should be. The Lot plan has the lines copied from the Pavement Marking Plan, and the ltscale is the same. Both PDF's are in model space, however we are continuously experiencing this problem of the line types not showing up in the XREF, however they appear correct in the drawing that contain the XREF.

Is there something we can do to fix this permanently?

Look into not just the LTSCALE system variable, but also MSLTSCALE and PSLTSCALE.

Both the MSLTSCALE and PSLTSCALE are the same in both drawings.

To quote from Help about it, "Different layout tabs can have different settings for PSLTSCALE," so .if Paper Space Viewports are involved, check that in all of them.

 The reason I posted was because they do not look the same in model space and I have checked all the PSLTSCALES.

greetings @CLG1972

Your PDFs do show the problem, but not the cause of it: share source DWG files if you need help finding the cause of the problems.

@CLG1972

Thanks for the files: but where did

119059-2D-PAVEMENT MARKING PLAN.PDF

come from?

and how did you get

117043-XREF-LOT PLAN.PDF

in the DWG file you posted?

Your DWG file seems to offer no PLOT presets and everything is at a rotates UCS. If I have to create those, then we're not helping you out much with your pre-existing issue.

I just want the lines from the Lot Plan to show up the same as the Pavement Marking Plan. It does not involve plotting or UCS rotations. I can not get them to look the same regardless of if the UCS is rotated or not. It obviously does not plot the same way either as per the PDF's attached. This is not the only project where this is a problem.

That means nothing to me since you provided no details about either. Sorry. This is not the M3D or C3D forum.

From what I gleaned from your one file, this conflict was the major problem, not much else

In our office, we go out of our way to avoid ever setting anything ..._XREF for annotative scale.

If you want to share one or more DWG files to others to test, we can look at those too. If this is a challenge you face system wide, Here is how to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help:

@CLG1972 ,

Compare the Custom Scale:
