Line Command Not working

I am using a template that I created.  Last night I was able to draw lines just fine, but today I cannot see any lines when using the line command. It doesn't draw anything. The line command does not work.  When moving my mouse you can see that it is measuring the dimensions, but nothing shows on the screen.  It is completely blank.  Additionally, the grid lines will not appear at all.  If I start a new drawing, I can use the LINE command just fine and my grid lines appear.

I need to be able to use the template that I created.  It has all the layers I need for my project.  Hoping someone can help me resolve this issue.  Thanks!

Is the current Layer turned off?  You probably wouldn't do that intentionally, but it is possible.

Does pressing the F7 key turn the grid on?

Hi,

>> Additionally, the grid lines will not appear at all

This looks like you are not looking vertical to the current UCS-plane.

Try this (in case you are working 2D):

Command _UCS with option _WORLD ... then command _PLAN with option _CURRENT

Does the grid now show up, can you now draw (and see) lines?

Hi @w213806693

Are you sure it's line? Or is it a polyline? If it's a polyline then you would see this happening when polyline width is set higher than zero. Type in the command "plinewid" and set it to "0". Also type in the command "Dragmode" and see if it's set to "auto" and see if that helps🙂
