Light line weights ontop of other line weights

I've been having this issue for some time now. 

I've set a layer for tiles as a light line weight and for some reason it's showing on top of other lineweight/layer. I've attached a screenshot

use command "SELECTSIMILAR" or "QSELECT" to select the layer of tiles and then use command "DRAWORDER" to send the layer to back.

Is there another way to fix this problem, it seems more then one layer is effected by it. My coworker is working on the same drawing and it looks normal on theirs without doing any specific commands.

Which objects and layers are the ones you need to push back or bring to front?

If you find a description that is the same for all objects like "all are hatches with a specific pattern" or anything like that, then yes, then you can use command _QSELECT or _FILTER to select these entities and change their draworder.

I would say any light line that is drawn on top of the dark line weights. I did a small test on my coworkers CAD program (we have the same CAD program) and when I test try it the dark line is over lapping the light line weights which is what I want. I've attached a screenshot, the left is the CAD and the right is PDF. We have a custom penstyle that we both share and use but for some reason it's not cooperating with me

So you say the left side/CAD is what you want and the right side (which is a result of PLOT to PDF) is different and so not correct ... do I understand that correct?

If yes, then you have issues with plotting, not with draworder. Therefor it would help to see this dwg-file.

Sorry I should've been more clear. The screenshots shows how it looks on both software (CAD & PDF) which I do not want at all. I want the dark lines to be forward (the darker line on the right) and have the light line to the back. For some odd reason my light lines are being drawn to the front of the dark line, my coworker does the same thing as me but the light lines are drawn to the back.

In the PDF file, my light line shows ontop of dark (as shown in the previous post). I tried printing from CAD also and it didn't seem to work either. Not sure if it's the CTB file but my coworker and I share the same thing (for some reason I can't attach it)

Which helps to define it, but I can't tell you now why this does not work as I don't have the drawing.

From the screenshots I can't select an object and see if that is a line, a polyline, a block, on the same layers or different layers, ....

The strange thing is more that your coworker can plot that with the correct draworder (or does he have a different CTB and plots different colors maybe) ... questions over questions ...

How do upload the CTB file on here? I tried and it doesn't seem to work. We don't draw polylines, just regular lines.  

We have a 3rd computer and I tried it on there, same problem as mine.

Please, pack all together to a ZIP (best to be created using command _ETRANSMIT) and upload/attach the ZIP-file.

Hi,

can you try to repeat these steps:

• use _QSELECT for the layer with the lightest grey
• use command _DRAWORDER and _BACK

...repeat these 2 steps for each layer in the order you want to have them from back to top

Are you  now able to plot correct?

PS: one question: why calling a layer "E - Light Grey" and assigning it a color like dark violett?

It's a personal preference and at that time we were in a hurry to get some drawings done 

It actually works! Is there a way to set the drawing to not constantly do that? I feel everytime we start a project from scratch it always happens on my computer but not my coworker

Just to make sure, by default AutoCAD has the last drawn object on top, AutoCAD has not a build in definition depending on layers and draworder. With other words if you draw anything on a black layer and then on the grey layer AutoCAD does not have the information that the object on the grey layer should automatically be pushed back.

The only chance about automatic draworder is to push hatches to the back, depending on system variable HPDRAWORDER (>>>details<<<).

So for new objects it's up to you to assign them to go back or to come to the front.
