License error - License manager not functioning

Hello, 

I have an error popping up as soon as I open AutoCAD, which states the following:

"The License manager is not functioning or is improperly installed. AutoCAD will shut down now." 

I attached a PNG file with an image of the error.

A little more info, I was getting rid of my older AutoDesk versions to update to the 2021 versions, I uninstalled all the AutoDesk programs and erased all the AutoDesk folders so I could reinstall the new versions on a different drive. I'm using Academic access to these programs BTW.

i suggest to Perform a clean uninstall as mentioned here . >> Click <<

as we were told in support, you can connect any number of computers to lisence, the main thing is that the toolset and employee monitoring software are set correctly

According to support, it's feasible to link multiple devices to one license. Just make sure all the components and employee monitoring settings are correctly configured. Also, verifying the network setup can prevent potential issues.

The first step I would take is to restart the workstation and check if it is connected to the internet. The last thing I would consider is reinstalling the software. 

The warning indicates that the system cannot connect to the Autodesk server to verify your license.
