leader with hexagon

I use leader with a hexagon. When I snap the center point of the hexagon block and move the mouse, the center point does not follow the movement of my mouse. It follows a little bit but off my mouse pointer. what's wrong here?

What snap are you using? Geo-center? Are you sure you aren't just grabbing it by a block base point that happens to be near the center? load the block dwg up so we can look.
