Leader text change its justification with the movement of the leader.

Is there anyway to have leader text match its justification with the leader as the leader switches sides of the text when you move the leader text? I want to be able to move the leader text and when the leader switches sides, the text updates its justification with the leader. Am I dreaming?

Hi @ChrisGamble,  Are you using qleader or multileader?  If you are using qleader, after starting the command look at command line and select Settings. Then on the annotation tab make sure you don't have Always left justify checked.

Qleaders are more difficult to work with for how im accustomed to drafting. And the option to have text always justify left is available for mleaders also. But I need the leader to be able to dictate the text justification when I move the text. Im not explaining it well, im not sure how to elaborate but ill try. I have my mleader settings to make the text switch sides of the leader when I move the text across the center of the end of leader, and I want the text justification to update automatically and to match the leader side of the mleader.

If I understand correctly in the multileader style on the content tab below text height there is an option "Always left justify". If you want the justification to change you need to uncheck that.  Hope I am understanding correctly.

See above instructions for QLEADER.
OR
If you are using Mleaders... go into MLEADERSTYLE command and fix your left/right justifications settings to what you want them to be: by default they are different.

Hope these help.

I see that for changing the leader attachment, but maybe I can explain it better with the leader attachment verbiage. When I grab the leader by its middle vertex and move the text, the leader switches sides of the text dependent on its attachment. When I cross the end point of the leader arrow head and the attachment changes to left attachment, I want the text to change to left justification, and vice versa. Can CAD do that?

Are you sure you don't have the Always left justify button checked?  It will prevent the justification from changing when you move the leader to the other side.  Or maybe while editing the text you changed the justification on the ribbon or properties palette. Then the justification won't update.

My bad, you already said that and that was it. I was testing your suggestion on leaders that I had already changed the justification from the properties palette so that must have voided the mleaders settings so they weren't working like they should've. But I created a new one and that was the fix.
