Layouts not changing independently

I'm trying to create multiple floor plan layouts for a project, with each tab containing a section of layers within their own viewport.

The problem I'm having is that when I change the frozen/thawed layers required for one viewport tab, they freeze/thaw in all the others, including the model space. My understanding is that the viewport space is like a window copy and isn't supposed to have any effect on the original model space, or the other viewport spaces. I've followed my professor's instructions, but I don't understand what has gone wrong.

Hi,

You have to use the columns that start with Vp in Layer Properties Manager dialog .. just pick inside your viewport then start to use what i mention it for you .

If you are using the freeze button and picking layers in the viewport then start the freeze command and then look at the command line and select Settings, then select Viewports and then select Vpfreeze.
