Layout-viewport-snap problems and line moving

It happens that Snapping tools does not work on the viewport if there is an XREF background in the model, it simply cannot find the intersection of lines from the layout and xref lines in the model.  Of course, it also happens that snapping does not work if the lines are 3D, but that's not a problem they have depth.

I overcome the problem using the NCOPY and CHSPACE commands, but it takes a lot of time when, for example, we have a lot of viewports.

Also  the problem is when lines start to move when zooming and it happens very often on many drawings (again viwport in Layout), i read all about that but only turning off the hardware acceleration helps although harms my work and then the RE command must often be used...

Is there a better solution, some lisp or does anyone have any ideas?

@shonemml  Your Osnaps should definetily work thru a viewport with an xref attached.  It works just fine on my end.

If turning off hardware acceleration resolves the problem then you have a graphics card compatibility issue

Have you tried just disabling

I've already tried most of the things you suggested, the others didn't solve the problem, it seems to be a bug, it also happens to other computers from colleagues, looks like i'll have to put up with it. Thank you for your suggestions, i apologize for only now replying, best regards!

I know and for me it usually works as it should, but this also happens, I think it's because various other things of other tools and software are inserted into the autocad, so the problem is related to that, thank you!

I must especially thank you for your answer, very interesting suggestions, unfortunately I think it's just a bug in autocad caused by inserting various works from other software, thank you!

The problem also happens to colleagues, so it's not about the graphics card, mine is solid, optimal, but certainly thanks for the answer

If it were a bug in the program, it could be recreated by anyone. I would focus on your hardware being the culprit.

What is yours and your colleagues graphics card ?  What version of AutoCAD is everyone running? And what OS is everyone on?
