Layout Tabs Deleting Themselves

Hey guys I'm running into a really odd problem right now and can't seem to find a solution to my problem anywhere else. Here's what's going on...

I created a drawing for a customer back in July and it has come time for their project to be started. I opened the file and reviewed the paperspace layout tabs. After that, I started to edit the drawing in the model space and after two minutes I realized that the first tab wasn't there anymore. I didn't know why and figured I just made a mistake and didn't catch it right away. I repeatedly hit ctrl+z until it came back and proceeded to work on my drawing, meanwhile keeping an eye on the tabs to make sure they don't get deleted. Well, something so simple like deleting a basic rectangle in the model space deletes one of the tabs for some reason! So again I started hitting ctrl+z but this time it didn't reappear when it should have. I had to keep doing this until I got back to where I originally started. Has anyone else had this issue before or have any ideas on why this is happening?

Best regards,

Just in case...

Maybe your layouts are simply re-ordering and dropping into the overflow???

I've seen the re-ordering thing many times and never pursued a fix.

You can right-click the bottom bar area and have your layouts display in their own row if you like.

Hope this helps?

That definitely helped! The tabs started to rearrange themselves after I originally posted. I really appreciate your help!
