I have been using this feature in AutoCAD and would like to see some upgrades to improve detailing within the software. Currently, you cannot create sections or isometric views from a detail. Additionally, you cannot create a detail from another detail view.
There are instances where these features would be beneficial for enhancing the information presented in drawings. These capabilities are already available in other CAD software, such as Onshape, although those are parametric CAD programs. Nonetheless, I am hopeful that the section and detail view features in the Layout tab can be improved.
