layers properties unhandled exception/parameter is not valid

I am running Autocad 19 and when I try to open "Layer Properties" I get this error:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.  If you click continue this application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.   Parameter is not valid"

I never had this happen before!

Hi,

Welcome to the AutoCAD Forum.

The problem what your stating, is this happening with all the drawings or particularly this drawing?

Have you tried using command AUDIT on this drawing?

If restarting your PC does not fix the problem in all of your files, you have a reinstall of the program in your future at least.

Hi,

Try using the Classic layer manager in that case.

Type in the command "CLASSICLAYER"

This morning before classes I uninstalled and did a reinstall.  The problem still exists.  I have similar pc's in the lab but only mine has this error.

Hi,

Please check if the you have Latest .Net Framework installed.

You could also try to mimic the settings as that of the other systems which you said to working good without this error.
