layer properties tool bar stuck above ribbon

Hi Forum

My Layer properties tool bar is stuck above the Ribbon menu ?

How can it be moved to the side bar function/location

When it was in its side bar state,

tried to resize it,

then is jumped above the ribbon,

and stayed there,

now cannot get it out from there !!

Undock it by dragging it out into the middle of the drawing area.  Then right click and uncheck allow docking.

I had the exactly same issue, the simply "drag it" did not work. But throwing in "cntrl + drag" did.

I learned the solution through reddit.

I had same problem, when trying to right click and drag the layers palette from its docked position i got a red circle with a line through it - basically telling me that command was not available - similarly 'allow docking' checkmark is greyed out and cannot be changed...

That being said pressing Ctrl and dragging the layer palette DID work and then I was able to uncheck 'Allow Docking' and go about my work as normal.
