Keyboard shortcut for previous command in command prompt

If anyone is familiar with the Linux operating system, the terminal has a nice command for retrieving recent commands in their command prompt, it's the `up arrow`. Simply press the up arrow and it will continue to display the commands you've been putting into the terminal. Does AutoCAD have a similar keyboard shortcut? It would be very nice if I could do the same with the AutoCAD command prompt. It would save a lot of clicking and time as I use a lot of the same commands at the moment. Plus, I prefer using the keyboard over the mouse. I do know you can start to type a command and it will come up, (for example, type ml and you'll get the MLINE command)...and that' s a nice feature and I use it a lot. But was hoping there was a keyboard shortcut for this. I haven't found it so far though.

AutoCAD does have this and it's also the UP ARROW, when INPUTHISTORYMODE is configured to do so.

Try following key store

Menu key (that one between Win and Ctrl), then down arrow, then right arrow.

Hi,

You can do the same which you do in linux by press arrow up key to go through the recent commands used in AutoCAD as well.

It takes sometime to get to know about the commands, but once you get a grip over them you would never use the mouse to click on the ribbon to invoke a command.

Hey,

The easiest way to repeat the previous command is to just press the space bar or you can customize your right click button to repeat the last command (options>user preference>right click customization).

Hope this helps.

I find it easier to use the right mouse button, pick recent input, pick from the list presented.

Thank you! Exactly what I wanted. I see it displays in the dynamic input or command prompt too!
