Joining 3D Polylines with Gaps

Hi

I wonder if someone can please help me with my issue. I've created a 3D pipe network in AutoCAD using 3D Polylines. It seems that the polylines have very tiny gaps between some of them and this is not allowing me to join the lines into a 3D polyline. What is the easiest way to join the lines (of course without changing the line grades, position, etc...); i just want something to close out the gaps so that i can join. I cannot even zoom in into the gaps to actually find out what is it and close it out because it's very tiny.

I've highlighted the brown 3D line for example which I would like to have as one polyline, but when i use the command join, it is not joining.

I've attached the drawing for reference.

Thank You

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply; the link is very useful but i could not find the solution to address my problem. The micro gaps are very difficult to locate and it is very time consuming to close off one by one. I'm sure there is a more efficient way which can connect the 3D polylines and disregard the micro gaps.

Easiest way to do this is just to trace over your original pipe run with a brand new 3D polyline. Making sure everything is 100% connected  as you go.

The fact that you are in 3d space makes it almost impossible to use the Join command, Extend, or Fillet command efficiently. Might work in some instances, but not all of them.
