I was recently upgraded to 2017 full Autocad from LT 2013 (yeah!) and have been discovering new tools and techniques. Remembering the Squiggle tool that was never available in LT I was looking for a way to add a hand-drawn effect to a floorplan. A co-worker told me about creating styles using the Visual Styles Palette.
Perfect, just what I needed. The only problem is when I try to print the drawing I cannot get it print black and white. It doesn't matter which plot style is selected the preview always shows the layer colors. Doesn't matter if it is a standard plot style or one we have created. This only happens in the layout where the new style was applied.
I can print to a black and white printer and the lineweights appear correct but I need to print these as a pdf so will have to open them in another program to change all the lines to black.
