Plot, without using a plotstyletable.

If you plot with using a plotstyletable: Yes!
But
1. Each property in each plotstyle, for example the llineweight in plotstyle 'color1',
can set to "use object ...."
2. * just a small thing, but not wrong, right and important:
Each CTB plot style refers to the color with which an object is represented.
The object can have the color assigned directly, or ByLayer can receive the color from the layer.
LayerA can have color green(3), but the circle on layerA has color red(1) and the line color yellow(2).
The circle would be plotted with plot style 'color1#', the line would be plotted with plot style 'color2', although LayerA would be used.So basically it has very little or nothing to do with layers.

If I understand well: Plot without using a plotstyletable, disable this option in Plot dialog
or use plotstyletable acad.ctb (all properties are set to plot "use object properties").
