Issues Converting Polyface Mesh Object to 3D Solid

Attached is the original file I received from someone else and then the dwg that was created from it. I need help converting the objects into 3D solids so that it can be imported into revit. I have tried multiple methods but can't seem to create solids. Any advice would be great.

Hi,

why need to convert anything, import the dwg-file into Revit ... (but take care, that's a lot of geometry).

Hi Albert,

I thought about doing just that. But is there then a way to assign materials to the object. The  different components are made from different materials. Also wanted to know how to then hide the wireframe edges in realistic view without affecting other objects in my project

Hi,

>> The different components are made from different materials

I'm not a Revit specialist (even know close to nothing about this), but I would then create separate dwg-file for each object you like to have with a separate material.

It does not depend if it is a polymesh or solid inside the dwg-file, they are handled in the same way in Revit (AFAIK)
