Issue with 1660ti on AutoCAD 2022

I have been experiencing slow mouse movement issue on new AutoCAD 2022. on AutoCAD 2021 or 2020 it works fine without problems. I even reinstalled windows and autocad 2022... Still nothing works. All drivers are uptodate.

When i start autocad 2022 with Intel UHD Graphics no problems. But with nvidia 1660ti i have slow mouse movement.

If i disable hardware acceleration to off mouse is back to normal but I don't want to do it because the image is distorted.

So i want to keep using 1660ti like before. any solutions?

The article says that "starting with AutoCAD 2017, the program requires DirectX 11 by default".

My question is, if that is indeed the case, why doesn't the installation for AutoCAD automatically set this configuration?  I vaguely recall having to manually set my computer to DX11 manually when I first set up this computer a few years ago.  Does everyone need to manually adjust this, or does AutoCAD try to set it, and all who have had this problem have experienced some glitch where the installer didn't set it right?

autocad 2022 using directx 12. older versions used directx 11.. since its the first time they used it in autocad. they (autodesk) or nvidia or microsoft needs to update or fix things. no one have to adjust anything at enduser this is not a UI configuration it is a problem at core.

btw i did not accepted those things as solutions. they are just workarounds...

Do something about it then other than posting in the forums where it only stays between use end users:

and Here after you click on the ? icon for "post installation support" https://manage.autodesk.com/home/

I've had a reply from Autodesk, they are aware and are working on it with NVIDIA/DX12.

Microsoft just updated .NET Core ("new" NET Frameworks DX12 that come with AutoCAD 2022). FYI problem still persist.

Yes, definitly the problem is with DX12, BUT.

I have dual setup monitors, U21412 (1080p) and P2720 (1440p)...

With DX12 autocad 2022 runs smooth only on my 1080p monitor.

With DX11 autocad 2022 runs smoont on both monitors but the new GSF shaded mode is not stable...

Thank you very much, I had the same problem (input lag when using Hardware Acceleration on a Nvidia 3080). Now it's fixed! For anyone reading this, I fixed it running the GFXDX12 command and changing its value to 0.

Like others in this thread, my up-to-date Windows 10 and NVidia drivers on my Quadro T2000 also experience this issue. Thank you for the GFXDX12=0 fix, which seems like the best option (over the environment variable change shown in the help article...)

Yes, there is a an official workaround using system environment variables. However, not all users have the permissions to modify these variables, so Justin's method using AutoCAD's own variables is easier for users to execute:

Yeah, ofc. Just FYI, 2022.0.1 and GFX beta update didn't solve issue, already tried.
