Is there any way to plot a color PDF as black & white?

I have a drawing I am doing for someone here that consists of a color PDF, with some added text notes/arrows. They needed it printed all black & white as it is being used as an exhibit for some sort of permit application and they will not accept color exhibits. The PDF has a bunch of red lines in it and autocad does not identify any layers in the PDF. Is there any way to get this PDF to print grayscale/black & white or will I just have to print it on a black & white printer and scan it?

Hi,

if you sure that the content is just raster data:

Autocad has nothing to do with the color in your PDF, so open the PDF

in a PDF editor where you can switch the color to black (or greyscale)

or in a PDF viewer (or editor aswell) and print to PDF in black (or grayscale, of it is okay).

and use the new .PDF as attachment in Acad

[I haven't tried it, but does some monochrome option in AutoCAD plotting overcome colors in a PDF attachment?]
