DWGCONVERT seems to only convert to older versions.  I need to bulk convert 2013 files to 2018.

Are there any new objects in 2018 format?  Are there any benefits to converting these to 2018?  Would there be any issues if my models are 2013 format and other disciplines are in 2018?

Thank you

AutoCAD is backwards-compatible -- people using newer versions will always be able to open files in older versions.  So I don't see any need to convert them for the sake of disciplines using newer versions.  When someone opens one with a newer version, as soon as they Save it, it will be converted.  If other disciplines do that, and send them back to you, and if you  are still working in 2013 file format, then you will need to either get them to "backdraft" the drawings before sending them to you, or you can use DWG TrueView [free download from AutoDesk] to convert them yourself so you can open them.
