Is it possible to remove the Proxy object in pure Autocad?

Hi,

Our customer have problem with DWG file that has a proxy feature in pure AutoCAD. They are interested to remove this  proxy object dialog and object in pure AutoCAD. An issue related to how they get rid off the Proxy Information dialog and the proxy object. They have lot of issue using the DWG file further in Pure AutoCAD. I know that, if I open the file in C3D or Map-3D this proxy information dialog dissaper. I have attached one example of a file from the customer.

Hi,

you can turn OFF notification from PROXYNOTICE (System Variable) . also you can try EXPORTTOAUTOCAD (Command) to get rid from the proxy objects .

in AutoCAD:

- you can disable the Proxy-warning in the Options / Open and save: Show warning for proxy objects

- you can also control the display of proxy objects there

- etc. see the Options

There is no such thing as "pure" AutoCAD.

Turn off PROXYSHOW, PROXYNOTICE and PROXYGRAPHICS variables, QSAVE, REGENALL, then WBLOCK all the content you wish to keep and abandon the original file.

OR in MAP3D or C3D use the "export to autocad" tool to strip those files of these content that trigger the proxy items seen in plain AutoCAD.
