Is it possible to adjust the dimensions seamlessly of an imported PDF?

Hi all! Just a beginner here figuring things out. So I just imported a PDF file of an architectural plan (having isometric views such as elevations & sections) to a new AutoCAD document and now I need to make a few adjustments to the dimensions but when they were imported the dimensions became just plain text and hence disconnected with the drawing itself. Is there an easier way to adjust the dimensions along with the drawing? If so, please let me know. Thank you in advance!

Additional info that might help: I know how to match the scale of the original drawing to the viewport. I just want to find a way that will not require me to remove all the previous dimensions, adjust the size of the drawing one by one, and bring out all the revised dimensions again.

How much of a beginner if I may ask?

Q1: AutoCAD has no ability to rebuilt loose lines and text back into a dimension-object: but there should be nothing stopping you from replacing the text with another text since a PDF import is not likely to be 100% "cad accurate) most of the time.

Q2: In AutoCAD, assuming you draw in modelspace and rarely if ever in paperspace, you should never scale your 1:1 drawn content in modelspace: that's a print-need only, you can create a scaled viewport of your modelspace content to a set scale if needed. That way your dimensions are always accurate: if the text is just too small, you can fix just the text dimension size in several ways if that's the issue.

The PDF import is just new to me and I was trying to make use of it rather than making a completely new drawing. This answered my question though "AutoCAD cannot rebuild loose lines and text back into a dimension-object" so thanks! I guess the only way is to draw them from scratch and absolutely cannot use the PDF drawing to update its dimensions. And yes, you're right about the scaling stuff, I only do it when I need to print or export it to my PDF software and usually leave the scale of the model space to 1:1. Sorry for the confusion and I appreciate the information.
