Is DriveWorks part of Solidworks or can it be used as a standalone product?

Hello all,

My background is in AutoCAD but I have a job interview on Monday in which they said I would be using DriveWorks.   I have never used DriveWorks before.  Does anyone know if DriveWorks is an extension of Solidworks?    I went to the DriveWorks website and they have different versions but not sure if it requires you to know Solidworks.  The job description doesn't mention anything about Solidworks and only mentions DriveWorks.   Can DriveWorks be used as a standalone design software like AutoCAD?   If so, do know which version of DriveWorks?

Thanks for anyone who can help me with this.

Why are you asking here about two software from two different companies, neither of which is Autodesk?

Why are you not asking DriverWorks for help https://www.driveworks.co.uk/contact-us/

Or asking one of their resellers https://www.driveworks.co.uk/resellers/

You can just delete my post then.  I don't know how to delete my post.  I eventually did contact Driveworks and got my answer.

I realize this is an Autodesk forum but I assumed people used other design software as well and could help me.  Guess I was wrong.  Personally I use AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.  My apologies for assuming other people here use other design software besides Autodesk products.
