Irregular Lines

Hello,

I am currently using Autocad 2019 for students. I have used this program since I first came to school and never had this issue. I am plotting my drawings and both the preview and the actual PDF come out with irregular lines. By this i mean that some lines break into segments, others have changed angles, etc. I tried regen, purge, audit and even changing scales and .ctb but nothing works. Please someone help!!

Thanks in advance,

Where is that irregular lines ?

>> some lines break into segments, others have changed angles,

in your Model space ( Lts=0.001 ) , for that you can not notice your dashed lines but noticed in layout depending on your VP scale and size ( BTW your VP's too small ) . if you change your Lts = 0.10 then type Regen to notice the real status of your lines in model layout .

For me ... there is nothing weird noticed or any irregular lines . your pdf file match your VP .

Hi,

>> preview and the actual PDF come out with irregular lines.

I'm curios too, which lines are you seeing?

That's what I see when I look to your dwg-file and your PDF-file:

Hi,

As I could the dashed seems to be crooked and there are some lines broken as well when you zoom into PDF with 600%.

Try to publish the PDF with highest quality and that would eliminate your problem.

See attachment I have published the PDF with highest quality were in I was not able to see problem of "irregular lines"

All the lines I checked that should be either 0, 90, 180, or 270° are all off by a fraction of a °.  This might be causing some of the problem you are seeing.  Use Polar or Ortho when drawing lines that need to be ortho.

Hi,

>> See zoomed in screenshots attached.

You are zooming much closer than you would see when you print the PDF.

However you have got the suggestion to create the PDF with higher resolution (post 4) ... have you tried that?
