I am completely new to AutoCad. Until now I only worked with Sketchup and I miss (probably more to come) a few things in AutoCad that I had in Sketchup.
Most important would be the intersection of lines. In the example below:
I first made one rectangle, then went through the somewhat complicated process of copying and rotating at the same time and then through the even more complicated process of deleting the inner square. Now I would like to delete the lines at the end of the plus sign as well as that part of the arc so that subsequently I have only one surface left.
I just don't know how I can intersect the lines with each other? (arc and rectangle)
In Sketchup a line is divided into more parts as soon as another line crossed it (which also has it's disadvantages). I somehow cannot find this option here.
