how can i fix this internal error in autocad 2017.

is the error happening during a specific task?

Try PURGE and AUDIT.

Close the file and Open it using RECOVER from Autocad-Drawing utilities menu.

Go through the command line to see if any errors are found.

Hi @Anonymous 

1. You need to update AutoCAD 2017 Service Pack 1 

2. use the DXFOUT command to save the file as a DXF and then use the DXFIN command to save the file back to DWG format

AutoCAD 2017 SP1 is not the latest update, the latest update is AutoCAD 2017.1.2

When do you get this exception?

• every time you start AutoCAD during the start process
• sometimes when starting AutoCAD
• sometimes with a specific drawing
• every time with a specific command in a specific drawing
• every time with a specific command in also new drawings?
• ...
